3D Smart Sensors such as Structured Light 3D Sensors, Time of Flight 3D Sensors and Proximity Sensors to name a few, consists of multiple components such as Micro Lens Array, Diffractive Optical Element, Housings, Illuminator and Receiver which are combined together to work as one. These components are required to be tested individually in various aspects and visually inspected for cosmetics before actively assembled together and tested as a complete product in the final test.

IQC Testers

1. IQC Laser Module Tester
IQC Laser Module Tester offers a Full Turnkey Solution designed for Laser module testing. By using an integrating sphere, it will test & measure the electrical and optical output power characteristics of the module in either Continuous or Pulse Mode depending on the requirement. Far Field Patterns are also analysed by using a NIR sensitive Lens with a Lambertian Transmittance Diffuser to detect the vertical and horizontal light intensity distribution of the module to ensure that it meets the stringent requirements.
2. IQC Lens Tester
IQC Lens Tester is design to test the optical characteristics of Micro Lens Array. The tester will analyse the beam transmission efficiency of the lens by emitting a beam of laser through the lens to determine if the optimum amount of light passes through. Field Patterns are analysed by using a Lens with a Lambertian Transmittance Diffuser to detect the vertical and horizontal light intensity distribution of the module to ensure that it meets the stringent requirements. It is also equipped with multiple cameras to detect the centre point of the lens before testing.
3. IQC DOE Tester
An innovative tester designed to test the imaging characteristics of Diffractive Optical Elements (DOE). Light pattern is captured and analysed for its characteristics through NIR sensitive camera and Lambertian Transmissive Diffuser to ensure it meets the stringent requirements. It is also equipped with soft handling capabilities to eliminate any damages onto the DUT.

1. Lens + Inner Housing Assembly
It offers a Complete Solution to assemble together Micro Lens Array and VCSEL Inner Housing into a Lens Module by using High Precision Glue Dispenser and High Accuracy Vision Technologies. The in-built glue dispenser is integrated with a top camera to detect & obtain the positions of the housing to be dispensed with glue. The glue dispenser uses a Screw Headed Valve which enables it to perform high viscosity and small diameter glue dispensing with high precision & accuracy.
2. AA DOE Module
It is designed to actively align & assemble together DOE with VCSEL Outer Housing into a DOE Module by using High Precision Glue Dispenser and High Accuracy Vision Technologies. The handler’s in-built glue dispenser is integrated with a top camera to detect & obtain the positions of the housing to be dispensed with glue. The glue dispenser uses a Screw Headed Valve which enables it to perform high viscosity and small diameter glue dispenser with high precision & accuracy. By using multiple vision stations, they capture the X, Y coordinates of both the DOE and Housing while aligning & positioning them accordingly before assembling them both together.
3. AA Collimator Module
It is designed to actively align & assemble together Laser Module and Lens Module into a Collimator Module by using High Precision Glue Dispenser and High Accuracy Vision Technologies. The handler’s in-built glue dispenser is integrated with a top camera to detect & obtain the positions of the housing to be dispensed with glue. The glue dispenser uses a Screw Headed Valve which enables it to perform high viscosity and small diameter glue dispensing with high precision & accuracy. By using multiple vision stations, they capture the X, Y coordinates of both the Laser Module and Lens Module while aligning & positioning them accordingly before assembling them both together.
4. AA Projector
It is designed to actively align & assemble together Collimator with DOE Module into a Projector, the Final & Complete Product by using High Precision Glue Dispenser with High Accuracy Vision Technologies. The handler’s in-built glue dispenser is integrated with a top camera to detect & obtain the positions of the housing to be dispensed with glue. The glue dispenser uses a Screw Headed Valve which enables it to perform high viscosity and small diameter glue dispensing with high precision & accuracy. By using multiple vision stations, they capture the X, Y coordinates of both the Projector and Housing while aligning & positioning them accordingly before assembling them together.

1. 2DBC Laser Marking Handler
It is a fully automated high speed & precision laser marking handler designed for Singulated Module/Component. The handler comes with a wide selection of compatible lasers to select such as YV04, Fiber, Green and UV Laser depending on the package & application. It is also integrated with Advance Vision System to perform post-mark inspection onto the module ensuring that the end results are up to stringent requirements.
