Job Responsibilities
- Produce a quality design to meet internal & external expectation.
- Explore improvement opportunities and makes proposals for corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare all parts drawings, quality user manual and maintain a proper technical recording.
- For Senior, Provide guidance to new or junior design engineer & help them by providing solution or others technical information.
- Always provide solutions for projects & arrangement improvement.
- Take in charge of the department and to make a right decision on behalf of Section Manager during his absent.
- Attend to production & customers design related issues & provide commitment on the improvement action.
- Follow up closely on every single design had been done.
- Make sure the design output meets the design input.
- The design must go through a proper review & verification before sending out for production fabrication or purchasing sourcing.
- For Senior, Provide training to the Junior Design Engineer
- Carry out project as assigned by the Superior, COO, CEO and/or EC.
Qualification
- Diploma or Degrees in Mechanical Engineering.
- Able to handle projects independently.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in automation equipment design & troubleshooting
- Work experience in related field experience.
- Ability to independently coordinate with customer for machine buy-off schedule.
- Should possess responsibility and have strong communication and action orientated.
- Strong experience automation design and CAD software.
- Familiar with pneumatics and motion controls.
